The type of work carried out by West Wing Aviation covers areas such as low capacity RPT Mail Runs, Mine contracts and ad-hoc Charter.

Due to the Mining Contracts, West Wing Aviation's minimum requirements are as follows:

• Total Time: 2000hrs
• Command: 1500hrs
• Multi-command: 500hrs
• Command on type: 100hrs
• Night flight time: 50hrs
• IFR renewals: 3
• Valid dangerous goods certificate
• Current class 1 medical certificate
• Current multi-engine command instrument rating

* West Wing Aviation does however fill positions in some instances where minimums are not met.
